Stars of Tomorrow;
Building a Brighter Future for Restoration Place
We are thrilled to share that our Restoration Advocates fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, was a tremendous success.

Together, we raised $50,000, including monthly donation commitments totaling $27,000. These monthly gifts will fully cover the mortgage and property insurance for one of our shelter homes—providing vital stability for the people we serve.
Every contribution—from sponsorships and silent auction bids to concession purchases—will directly support our operations in the year ahead. Every person who attended made a difference.
As anyone who’s planned an event knows, there are countless details to juggle and no guarantees. As of Saturday morning, we truly weren’t sure if more than 50 people would show up. But when the doors opened at 6, guests began to arrive. By 7 p.m., just as the show began, the venue was full.
That turnout meant the world to us as organizers, but even more so to some very special attendees—current residents of Restoration Place. They were there, quietly observing, and deeply moved by what they saw: a room full of people who care.
When I spoke with them afterward, they were in tears. They felt seen, supported, and uplifted—not just by a director, interns, or volunteers—but by an entire community standing behind them.

From all of us at Restoration Advocates, thank you for being part of that community. Your presence, generosity, and belief in our mission are what make our work possible.
